Apprenticeships
Plumbers are skilled professionals who specialise in the installation and maintenance of water, drainage, gas, and sewerage pipes and systems. They may focus on specific types of plumbing work, such as large-scale construction projects or smaller domestic projects.
You can become a plumber by completing a three-to-four year apprenticeship, during this time you will need to be employed as an apprentice. As part of your training, you will complete a Certificate III in Plumbing (CPC32420).
