The business has now successfully been transferred into the hands of the third generation—the sons of sons.
The professional team of plumbers, gas-fitters and roofing specialists has grown to over 60 qualified tradesman, apprentices and support staff.
A fourth generation have now commenced their apprenticeships in the A Murray and Sons business as local plumbers.
The Business continues to service the local market of previous generations and maintains a retail showroom and parts supply warehouse in the Tumut complex. However, the biggest growth sector of the business is now in its commercial division which has expanded operations across New South Wales.
A Murray & Sons remains headquartered in Tumut and continues to service the massive industrial timber mills in the area.

A Murray and Sons is a multi generational family plumbing business that now employs over 60 qualified tradesman, apprentices, project managers and support staff.
Mathew Murray, Dwayne Murray and Scott Murray, the current Directors of A. Murray & Sons (and cousins) have over 70 years experience in local, industrial and commercial plumbing and plumbing maintenance,
Each of the Directors hold a separate responsibility for the various cost centres of the business and the teams employed beneath them.
Over the past two years there has been a focus on building the culture of A Murray and developing the staff to grow with us in this new phase of the company’s development.

Congratulations to the A Murray and Sons team at Williamtown Air Base on receiving a great result in Lend Lease’s latest safety audit.
“The Lend Lease ‘team safety’ are extremely vigilant and have demands well beyond what we normally are asked to provide with other builders.
The result that AMS achieved in our safety Audit this morning is outstanding, and is off the back of one of our guys, Neil Jones receiving the NACC Project Employee Award for Safety, last month—from all trades on site.
This is a great result and only can be achieved by the involvement and participation of all the guys and processes that Lend Lease Builders has and continues to require.
